Employer: We were approached by a large company to advise a number of its employees who were being made redundant on the terms of their settlement agreements. We were able to charge the employer a reduced rate for our fees due to the volume of work and all employees were given independent advice without any extra charge and within a prompt timescale because we were working on site.
Employee: An employee approached us with a compromise agreement which provided him with no extra benefit for signing (had he not signed he would have received the same financial package offered by the agreement). We managed to obtain an increase to the original offer of just over 75%.
